Established in 2023, the name Bramblewoods is a combination of our family dog Bramble, a cross Irishsetter and Poodle known as an Irishdoodle, and the natural Woods we use to make all our lovely products.
​
What started as a hobby making a cheese board for the family soon developed and expanded to include, chopping boards, serving platters, bread boards, charcuterie boards and butchers blocks after a very successful Christmas Fayre at a local village
​
We source and hand pick all our raw materials, Oak, Elm, Ash, Maple, Cherry, Beech, Birch and Walnut from local timber merchants and sawmills. These local relationships are extremely important, they provide us with the insight into the history of the material and the processes, including kiln or air drying, used to maximise their stability. This gives us the confidence to craft these lovely products with the knowledge they will keep their quality and beauty for years to come.

That said, wood is a natural material and comes with differing variations and characteristics including colour, grain, texture, cracks and knots.
These are not defects but a natural occurrence within the beauty of natural solid wood.
